Spunky Clappers is a duo of musicians, Alex Besalduch (guitar, lead vocals, bass, harmonica, percussion) and Miguel Ángel Bestard (trumpet, tuba, trombone, euphonium, vocals, keyboards and programming) which was created in 2019.

These two musicians present their new show, Cosmopolitan Funky Folkies, an innovative audiovisual proposal where the message of the songs is highlighted with videoclips synchronised with the music of the songs performed live.

The show is a tour around world music, going through African American genres such as soul and funk, but also through other Afrocuban beats, such as cumbia, mambo or boogaloo, as well as other styles, such as Balkan music, psychedelia o acid rumba from the 1970s. Music with electronic bases and organic percussion to have fun, which generates a festive atmosphere with high interaction with the audience. Moreover, their lyrics, which saucily mixes English, Spanish and Catalan, tackle everyday issues in our society with a touch of reflection and criticism, but also irony, positivism and tons of good vibes.
