INTENSIVE CLOWN AND PHYSICAL COMEDY WORKSHOP: MANUAL Y GUÍA DEL PAYASO CALLEJERO

This workshop is designed for performing arts professionals who wish to deepen their understanding of clowning and physical comedy. Through a structured process, participants will work on character creation, stage rhythm, and the dynamics of physical humor.

The workshop is divided into two phases:

1. Introduction and Creative Laboratory
Participants will receive reference materials, including a guide and a physical score specifically designed for clown work. Based on these foundations, they will explore the principles of physical comedy and engage in experimental labs to develop their own routines.

2. Performance and Stage Refinement
In the second phase, three pre-selected artists will present their solo acts to receive a detailed analysis and personalized direction from the instructors. This session will allow attendees to observe the creative process and gain insights into the construction and refinement of a clown act.

The workshop is intended for circus artists, actors, dancers, and other performing arts professionals interested in incorporating clowning and physical comedy into their creative practice.

In this roundtable discussion, we will explore comedy from different perspectives: physical comedy, hospital clowning, the art of making people laugh, and the social role of the clown. We will be joined by clowns and performers who will share their experiences and reflect on the impact of laughter in both performance and society.
